With the development of optical emission spectrometer technology, there are many types of optical emission spectrometers on the market, but no matter what kind of optical emission spectrometer, in order to achieve accurate results, standardized calibration is essential.
The function of standardization is generally used to calibrate the working curve of the direct-reading spectrometer when it leaves the factory: due to the working curve drawn by the factory, the working curve will change after a period of time, such as changes in the environment, the impact of argon, fluctuations in the power supply, If the lens is not contaminated and the working curve is severely shifted without standardization, the detection data will have a great deviation.
Normalized samples are usually set at the factory. The requirement is 0.9 ~ 1.2). The period is generally determined according to the actual effect (usually once every 3 days). If the data is accurate and stable, it can be appropriately extended.
Points to note for standardized calibration:
(1) Before standardization, the state of the excitation point must be ensured (excitation of the waste point or argon flow for more than half an hour);
(2) Standardized samples must be cleaned, the surface is flat, and the texture is clear;
(3) The excitation table must be cleaned, and the excitation electrodes must be cleaned (one by one).
